Matthew 26:41

"Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation..."


Beware of slothfulness lest you lose all that you had built in the period of your zealousness.


Beware of coldness lest all the genial glow of your period of fervency and enthusiasm be frozen.

Beware of the artful act of the archfiend lest he colonizes your thought pattern and leaves your heart fallow.


Beware of not watching lest the devil gets hold of your watch and obstruct you from getting from the throne of grace.


Beware of worldliness lest you are thrown down from the apex of the Divine life you have attained.


Beware of lean prayers lest the fat of your comfort and peace be eaten up by gentle cool breeze blown by the enemy of your soul.


Beware of neglecting prayers lest you lose all the spirituality and fervency you have attained.


Beware lest the caterpillar of licentiousness, cankerworms of indifference and the palmerworms of permissive will lay your heart desolate, and your soul languish.


Beware lest you enter into temptation when you're tempted by the tempter or temptress.


Oh! Sojourner In the land of the prince of this world, stand on your watch and watch your watch lest you are pulled out from the race to the land of gold, "where no tears nor suffering is"!


Watch and I say Watch!!!

COME TO JESUS AND BE HEALED!

And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any, Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stanched.  And Jesus said, Who touched me? BEYOND MERE EXISTENCE

Why does it seem so easy To slowly grow so cold, To lose that fire we once had known That burned within our souls? We start to lose the joy And life becomes a bore, We just live from day to day With no hope in the Lord We give up on the dreams, We once had in our hearts, We settle down to mere existence Alone within the dark Oh God our spirits yearn To know you so much more, We don't want to just exist But know you as before To feel your presence in our lives And a new song on our lips, To walk in victory every day, O Lord, we long for this Come, O God, and touch us Ignite us once again, So we will burn with holy zeal, More than we had back then Fill us with your spirit, Lord, And we shall be renewed, So joy can be restored to us With brand-new hope in you. © By M.S.Lowndes
